Dispenser Module

The Dispenser Module contains the pumps, valves, and sensors necessary for dispensing multiple liquids such as MEKP and other gel coat additives. An interlocked door isolates the operator from the dispensing process. A sensor situated in the top of the dispensing chamber determines the volume of the gel coat into which MEKP is to be dispensed. Wetted surfaces are PTFE, FEP, or perfluoroelastomer. All are highly resistant to the corrosive effects of MEKP. The dispenser module itself is fabricated from HDPE which is also highly resistant to chemical attack.

Power Supply

The Power Supply is isolated from the dispenser module to avoid exposure to MEKP. A single cable runs from the power supply to the dispenser module.

Windows Based Software

The brains of the system are contained in a Windows based program. A digital input/output board transfers commands from the computer to the dispenser module. During normal operation, the operator need only touch the dispense button on the computer monitor touch screen to initiate dispensing. System parameters may be accessed by supervisory personnel through a password protected menu.
